Hello!

I’m Maxine Stefano, an Instructional Designer known for transforming content into impactful training solutions that promote empowerment. Finding individuals’ intrinsic motivations energizes me. I believe it’s the best way to help my clients reach their business objectives, and I continue to be fueled by transforming complex information into effective, engaging learning experiences with each new project. 

I acquired strong relationship and project management skills and a solid knowledge of business processes through my work in the financial services industry. I obtained formal certifications in adult learning theory, andragogy, and instructional design, and have been at the forefront of adult education's digital literacy transformation.  

While I’m equally experienced developing traditional classroom curriculum, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), distance learning courses, and blended learning programs, I most enjoy using e-Learning authoring tools to create innovative learning experiences for a wide variety of audiences. 

On a personal note, I recently relocated across the country to build a home in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains – a learning experience that equates with upskilling for a new career – it  required buckets of relationship management, savvy budgeting skills, attention to detail, and patience!
